Art der Anwendung?
Bereiten Sie das Arzneimittel zu und nehmen Sie es ein. Dazu verrühren Sie es in einem Glas Wasser, Mineralwasser, Tee oder Fruchtsaft. Die Einnahme sollte auf 10-15 Minuten ausgedehnt werden.

Dauer der Anwendung?
Die Anwendungsdauer richtet sich nach Art der Beschwerde und/oder Dauer der Erkrankung und wird deshalb nur von Ihrem Arzt bestimmt.

Überdosierung?
Bei einer Überdosierung kann es zu lebensbedrohlichen Herzrhythmusstörungen, Missempfindungen, Lähmungen und Verwirrtheitszuständen kommen. Setzen Sie sich bei dem Verdacht auf eine Überdosierung umgehend mit einem Arzt in Verbindung.

Höchstdosis: Eine Dosis von 7 Beuteln pro Tag sollte nicht überschritten werden.

Der Wirkstoff ist ein wichtiger Mineralstoff im Körper, der die Nerven- und Muskelfunktionen steuert. Ein Mangel kann zu Muskelkrämpfen, Herzrhythmusstörungen sowie zu einer Übersäuerung des Körpers (metabolische Azidose) führen.

Contraindications
Was spricht gegen eine Anwendung?

Immer:
- Überempfindlichkeit gegen die Inhaltsstoffe
- Zu hoher Kaliumgehalt im Blut
- Flüssigkeitsmangel
- Eingeschränkte Ausscheidungsfunktion der Niere
- Nebennierenrindenunterfunktion#Morbus Addison
- Erbliche Muskelerkrankung (hyperkaliämische, periodische Paralyse)

Unter Umständen - sprechen Sie hierzu mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker:
- Erbliche Blutarmut (Sichelzellenanämie)

Was ist mit Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit?
- Schwangerschaft: Nach derzeitigen Erkenntnissen hat das Arzneimittel keine schädigenden Auswirkungen auf die Entwicklung Ihres Kindes oder die Geburt.
- Stillzeit: Es gibt nach derzeitigen Erkenntnissen keine Hinweise darauf, dass das Arzneimittel während der Stillzeit nicht angewendet werden darf.

Ist Ihnen das Arzneimittel trotz einer Gegenanzeige verordnet worden, sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker. Der therapeutische Nutzen kann höher sein, als das Risiko, das die Anwendung bei einer Gegenanzeige in sich birgt.
