It is well tolerated and the active ingredient only acts purely physically and locally in the gastrointestinal tract. 

Lefax Pump-Liquid is suitable for the whole family and can already be administered in infancy. The practical dosing pump makes it easy to use and safe to dose.

How to use?
Take the medicine undiluted. However, you can also dilute the medicine with water or tea. For infants, you can give the medicine directly into the bottle or administer it with a teaspoon before breastfeeding. Shake well before use.

Duration of use?
The duration of use depends on the nature of the symptoms and/or the course of the illness.

Overdose?
No overdose symptoms are known. If in doubt, consult your doctor.

Dosage

Excessive gas formation in the gastrointestinal tract, increased gas formation after operations and infant colic:
Infants 1-2 pumps several times a day with the infant's meal (breastfeeding or bottle)
Children aged 1-6 years 2 pumps 3-5 times a day with a meal, possibly before going to bed
Children aged 7-14 years 2-4 pumps 3-5 times a day with a meal, possibly before bedtime
Adults 4 pumps 3-5 times a day with a meal, possibly before bedtime
In preparation for imaging examinations: The medicine is dosed according to the planned examination by your doctor.
Flushing agent poisoning: As this is an emergency, the dosage is individualized and administered by a doctor.
Dosing aid: A measuring container is enclosed with the medicine to ensure correct dosing.

How does the active ingredient of the medicine work?

The active ingredient helps against flatulence. This is caused by accumulated gases in the gastrointestinal tract, which are present in the form of a fine foam. The active ingredient promotes the removal of the gases by destroying this foam.

- Hypersensitivity to the ingredients

What about pregnancy and breastfeeding?
- Pregnancy: According to current knowledge, the medicine has no harmful effects on the development of your child or the birth.
- Lactation: According to current knowledge, there are no indications that the medicinal product should not be used during lactation.

If you have been prescribed the medicine despite a contraindication, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. The therapeutic benefit may be greater than the risk associated with the use of a contraindication.

Side effects LEFAX Pump Liquid 50ml

What undesirable effects can occur?

- itching
- Hives
- Transient, spontaneous reddening of the skin on the cheeks with a feeling of heat (flushing)
- Spontaneous (mucous) skin swelling (angioedema)
