The history of the German Homeopathy Union DHU-Arzneimittel GmbH & Co. KG, now based in Karlsruhe, dates back to 1866, when Dr. Willmar Schwabe founded the "Homöopathische Centralofficin Dr. Willmar Schwabe" in Leipzig and Schuessler salts and homeopathic preparations manufactured and sold. As more and more time and energy was spent on research, production and distribution, 1961 saw the outsourcing of homeopathy and Schüßler salts within the Schwabe group in the form of DHU.
The DHU attaches great importance to quality and professionalism: all production processes are based on the homeopathic medicine handbook (HAB), which goes back to the founder of the company Schwabe, and the company uses only high-quality raw materials. Most medicines are made from medicinal plants, and most of the plants come from their own, certified facility near Karlsruhe (Terra Medica).
The product range of DHU includes about 350,000 products covering a variety of applications, such as for example for rheumatic pains, connective tissue reinforcement, menopausal symptoms or insect bites.
