Ceres Heilmittel AG produces its homeopathic medicines in Switzerland: in Kesswil in the canton of Thurgau and in Nax in the canton of Valais. CERES has set itself the goal of "uniting the material and intangible active ingredients of medicinal plants in medicine".
A look at the beginning ... Around 1980, the chemist and medicinal plant researcher Dr. Roger Kalbermatten developed a process that made it possible to process medicinal plants "in accordance with their nature" to mother tinctures (aqueous-alcoholic extracts).
In the meantime, CERES, which he co-founded in 1991, processes over 60 medicinal plants into mother tinctures and 25 medicinal plants into homeopathic potencies and produces 11 different complex remedies (from mother tinctures and potencies). The medicines are suitable for a wide variety of applications and have been used for a long time in homeopathic and phytotherapeutic treatments.
